A Storied Tradition of "Losers"
Leonard Postero began writing Leonard's Losers in 1958. He would write a narrative about college football games each week and pick the losers. His witty monologues were listened to religiously by thousands every Saturday morning on syndicated radio all over the south. Lasting less than 10 minutes, it was the highlight of everyone's tailgating activities. Postero retired in 1994, having over 125 radio syndications.
In 2012, George Yardley began picking about five college football games each week, composing a monologue using Leonard's signature style. Over the past seven years, Yardley has distributed his audio clips to numerous radio outlets who air "Leonard's Losers" as a weekly segment. In 2018, he acquired the trademark for the show and is currently working to build a larger base of radio affiliates in an effort to revive the "Leonard's Losers" brand.
